ABOUT

Hello there and thank you for visiting my website!

First let me introduce myself. My name is Rebecca Braak, I’m from Holland and right now I work and live in Quito, Ecuador. I grew up in a small town in Holland where I could practice my sport horseback riding every day. When I was 18 I moved to Amsterdam to start with my study Business Administration at the University of Amsterdam. This was an amazing period of my life full of amazing friends, nice jobs and personal development. I graduated and received my Master degree in International Management and I was working at my dream company KLM. But one big part was missing, horses! So I decided to go to Ecuador to volunteer for three months on a horse ranch in the Andes. I felt happy to be in nature all the time and the other aspects of moving to another country were also appealing to me. New culture, new language, new opportunity to start your life from scratch.

So in May 2014 I decided to move to Ecuador and I started working part time as e-commerce manager and I started riding horses at Rancho San Fransisco with one of the best showjumpers in Ecuador; Luis Barreiro.

My goal with this website is to give an overview of the most impressive horse rides available in Ecuador. With my experience with horses, tourism and business both in Holland and Ecuador I am sure that these rides will be an incredible experience . So if you need advice about what kind of horses you would like to ride, where you would like to ride, on what level or with what type of guide, I can give you advice. I am also able to compose the whole travel; from pick up, accommodation, tours, transportation etc.

I am very proud to announce that I also started an agency in general Ecuador tours for example Galapagos, Andes and Amazon trips. Please visit Rebecca Adventure Travel for more info.
