Hacienda Zuleta is a luxury Eco-farm from the 17th Century which is home to the Plaza family. Hacienda Zuleta is located in the Andean mountain range of Ecuador and is 2800 meters above sea level. The Luxury Eco-farm is only 2,5 hours from Quito. The Hacienda belonged to the family of former president Mr. Galo Plaza Lasso for more than 100 years.

For the Plaza Family, horseback riding has been a tradition for over one hundred years. Now, The Hacienda Zuleta is one of Ecuador’s exclusive stables horse riding vacations. Besides, Zuleta is also known for its own breed horses called Zuleteño. This is a exceptional mixture of Spanish (Andalusian), English and Quarter horses. The result are robust, noble and calm Andean horse perfect for trail riding.
